COVID19: Indian Army Salutes Pune Police Corona Warriors
Pune, May 3, 2020: Today, the three armed forces of the country (Army, Air Force and Navy) are saluting the Corona Warriors who are fighting the war against the Coronavirus in their way. They met local officials to express gratitude.
During this time, special tunes were played by bands, flypast by fighter aircrafts, flower showers on COVID hospitals from helicopters, illuminating warships. Armed forces are expressing gratitude to COVID Warriors. They are meeting administration, police and health workers all over the country today.
Major General Navneet Kumar, GOC South Maharashtra and Goa Sub Area, Colonel Anup Barbare, Colonel GS South Maharashtra and Goa Sub Area, today met Commissioner of Police Dr K Venkatesham, Jt CP Ravindra Shisve at the police commissioner office in Camp. A cake was also cut on the occasion.
Senior police officers including Additional Police Commissioner (crime) Ashok Morale, DCP (headquarters) Virendra Mishra, DCP (crime) Bachchan Singh, ACP (administration) Mahadev Patil, ACP (operation) Sunil Deshmukh were also present on the occasion.
