New Delhi, February 24, 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to commence the registration process for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2025 in the coming days. The agency has launched the official website cuet.nta.nic.in, signaling the imminent start of the application period for this crucial undergraduate admission exam.

The CUET UG 2025, designed to streamline admissions to various undergraduate programs across central, state, deemed, and private universities in India, is expected to witness a large number of applicants. While the exact registration start date has not been announced, it is anticipated to begin in the last week of February 2025, based on previous years’ patterns.

Aspiring candidates can follow these steps to complete their CUET UG 2025 registration:

Visit the official website cuet.nta.nic.in

Click on the ‘Register’ tab and follow the provided instructions

Enter required details such as Aadhaar Number, ABC ID, Passport Number, or PAN Card

Provide personal information including date of birth, address, and parent’s details

Create a secure password and select a security question

Upload necessary documents like photograph, signature, and category certificates

Pay the application fee online, which varies based on category and number of subjects chosen

Dr. Anita Sharma, an education expert from Delhi University, commented on the importance of CUET, saying, “The CUET has revolutionized the undergraduate admission process in India. It provides a level playing field for students from diverse backgrounds and educational boards.”

The tentative timeline for CUET UG 2025 includes:

Registration period: Last week of February to last week of March 2025

Application correction window: First week of April 2025

Admit card release: First week of May 2025

Examination dates: May 15 to 24, 2025

Result declaration: Last week of June 2025

Candidates are advised to keep all necessary documents ready, including a valid government-issued photo ID, Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, and category certificates if applicable. The application fee structure remains similar to previous years, with General category candidates paying Rs. 1000 for up to three subjects and Rs. 400 for each additional subject.
