Dance Party at Pune Restaurant Ends in Assault; Four Booked
Pune, 20th July 2026: Hadapsar Police have booked four people for allegedly assaulting a man during a dance party at Cult Terra Restaurant in Hadapsar.
According to police, the incident took place in the early hours of Sunday after an argument broke out between two groups attending the party. What began as a verbal altercation soon escalated, with the accused allegedly attacking the complainant with punches, kicks and a beer bottle, leaving him injured.
Based on the victim’s complaint, Hadapsar Police registered an FIR against four accused under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Police said the exact reason behind the dispute is being investigated.
The injured man received medical treatment following the incident. Police are also examining CCTV footage from the restaurant and recording statements of witnesses to establish the sequence of events.
Further investigation in the case is underway.
