Dastakari Haat – Kashmir Exhibition Kickstarts in Pune
Pune, 16th December 2023: The ‘Dastakari Haat – Kashmir Expo,’ a distinctive showcase featuring a diverse array of clothing, carpets, handicrafts, and dry fruits from Kashmir, has commenced at Congress Bhavan, Shivajinagar, Pune. The event is scheduled from December 15 to December 21, 2023, with exhibition hours running from 11 am to 9 pm.
Visitors to the exhibition can explore a rich collection, including silk sarees, chanderi fabric, muga silk, kosa silk, kalamkari sarees, banarasi silk sarees, kurtis, and bed sheets. The exhibition’s special highlights encompass shawls, stoles, pashmina, woolen products, and winter carpets sourced from Kashmir, accompanied by a variety of high-quality dry fruits.
The expo serves as a platform for Kashmiri weavers to showcase their unique creations, providing a comprehensive display of their craftsmanship under one roof.
