‘Dastkari Haat’ to be Held in Pune from November 8
Pune, 5th November 2024: The ‘Dastkari Haat Expo,’ an exhibition featuring handmade clothes, sarees, shawls, and carpets crafted by skilled artisans from 20 states across the country, will take place at Sonal Hall (Erandwane, Karve Road) from November 8 to 17, 2024.
The exhibition will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. To celebrate the wedding season, the showcase will highlight Banarasi silk, linen, cotton, and festive traditional attire. Attendees can expect a diverse range of sarees, dresses, suits, kurtas, shawls, and other handmade clothing.
Highlights of the event include Banarasi silk sarees, kurtas, bedsheets, and carpets, along with various handicraft products all available under one roof. More than 70 stalls will feature silk and cotton items from different states of India, making this exhibition a must-visit for anyone interested in traditional craftsmanship.
