Daund–Gwalior, Indore–Daund Express to Be Short Terminated at Khadki on January 23–24
Pune, 4th January 2026: Pune Division of Central Railway has announced short termination and short origination of select long-distance trains in connection with Pre-Non Interlocking (Pre-NI) and Non-Interlocking (NI) work for the commissioning of doubling between Daund and Kashti stations on the Daund–Manmad section.
As per the revised operating plan, Train No. 22944 Indore–Daund Express will be short terminated at Khadki on January 23 and January 24, 2026. Similarly, Train No. 22194 Gwalior–Daund Express will be short terminated at Khadki on January 24, 2026.
On the return journey, Train No. 22943 Daund–Indore Express will be short originated from Pune on January 24 and January 25, 2026, departing at 15:33 hrs, instead of its scheduled origin at Daund. In addition, Train No. 22193 Daund–Gwalior Express will be short originated from Khadki on January 25, 2026, departing at 00:25 hrs on January 26, 2026.
The changes are part of traffic and power block arrangements during the Pre-NI work scheduled from January 4 to January 23, 2026, followed by NI work on January 24 and January 25, 2026. These operational adjustments will impact train movement on the Daund–Manmad section during the block period.
