David Lloyd Clubs in a joint venture with Talwalkars Better Value Fitness announces the launch of ‘DLL Talwalkars Club Pvt Ltd’ in India

Pune, September 06, 2018: David Lloyd Leisure, Europe’s largest and fastest growing group of premium racquets, health and fitness clubs in partnership with Talwalkars Better Value Fitness today announced the launch of its joint venture company ‘DLL Talwalkars Club Private Limited’. The company is owned and created by David Lloyd Leisure and Talwalkars Better Value Fitness Ltd to build and operate high quality, family-focused health and leisure membership clubs in India under the David Lloyd Leisure Clubs Talwalkars (DLT Clubs) brand. By combining Talwalkars’ knowledge of the Indian Health & Fitness market with David Lloyd Leisure’s expertise in premium family-orientated clubs, the company aims to provide a new standard of clubs in India, targeting the growing upper-middle class population.

India’s first leisure club under David Lloyd Leisure Clubs Talwalkars is under construction in Wakad, Pune and is intended to open for members in early 2019, fulfilling the demand of sports and leisure club facilities under one roof. The leisure club will in bring international standard facilities for tennis, swimming, fitness, badminton and squash, along with multiple restaurants to its members. Alongside the excellent facilities will be outstanding coaching programmes for children and expertise available in every sport and fitness to help members learn to play, develop their techniques and reach their goals.
