Deccan Gymkhana will clash with Poona Club in finals PYC-Goldfieldd MANDKE TROPHY
Pune, September 13, 2023: Centuries in the first innings by Nikunj Vithlani not out 135(163,17×4), Abhishek Pawar 133(109, 15×4,2×6) for PBKJCA went in vain as the team went down to Deccan Gymkhana by 12 runs in the semifinals at the PYC-Goldfieldd MANDKE TROPHY which is being organised by PYC Hindu Gymkhana and sponsored by Goldfieldd Properties and played at PYC, Desire Sports Club Ground.
In the other semifinal match Poona club registered a seven wicket win over United Sports club

4th wicket partnership between Nikunj Vithlani not out 135(163,17×4), Abhishek Pawar 133(109, 15×4,2×6) of 259runs in 229balls registered 293 runs taking a 16 runs lead In the Second Innings: Deccan Gymkhana 3rd wicket partnership between Suraj Shinde(75runs), Tushar Shrivastav(60runs) of 66runs in 60balls helped them to score 184 runs in 20 overs setting a total of 168 runs but PBKJCA could only make 156 runs losing 9 wickets and Falling short
In the second semifinals after low scoring first inning United Sports Club set 137 runs for Deccan Gymkhana team who scored 145 runs losing just 3 wickets
In the final’s Deccan Gymkhana will take on Poona Cub for the title on 15th and 16th September at PYC ground
