Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s Pune Visit Deferred To Tuesday

Pune, 22 August 2021: The visit of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to Pune scheduled on Monday (August 23) has been deferred to Tuesday (August 24). The minister was to felicitate Services Olympians at the Army Sports Institute (ASI) and attend programs at Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT).
A press release from the Defence public relations officer (PRO) stated, “The visit of Raksha Mantri to Pune has been deferred to August 24, 2021 (Tuesday) due to unavoidable circumstances. Any inconvenience is deeply regretted.”
The minister was in Lucknow today to pay his tributes to former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Kalyan Singh (89), who passed away on Saturday. The cremation will be on Monday in Aligarh district.
