Delhi CM Oath Ceremony Of CM Rekha Gupta And The Cabinet

New Delhi, 20th February 2025: In the BJP government of Delhi, six leaders will take oath as ministers of the Delhi Cabinet along with the Chief Minister at Ramlila Maidan today.
Parvesh Verma, Ashish Sood, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Ravindra Indraj, Kapil Mishra, and Pankaj Kumar Singh will take oath as ministers. This swearing-in ceremony of the BJP government will be historic after 27 years. Former leader of the opposition Vijendra Gupta may be given the post of Assembly Speaker.
Big leaders like Parvesh Verma, Vijender Gupta, Ashish Sood, and Manjinder Sirsa were deprived of the post of Chief Minister, and Rekha Gupta has been given priority. In the news buzz, a discussion took frontline that Parvesh Verma will be given the chair of Deputy Chief Minister in the Delhi government, and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari also congratulated Verma in an ‘X’ post. Later, he removed the post, and this led to an intensifying discussion of his name.
Some leaders say that a decision on the post of Deputy CM has not been taken yet. On the other hand, Vijendra Gupta, who reached the Assembly for the third time, can be made the Speaker of the Assembly.
The first-time MLA, Rekha Gupta, will take oath as the Chief Minister of Delhi. Gupta’s name was announced on Wednesday evening. She contested and won from Shalimar Bagh. Along with this, there was no official statement from the BJP government about whether there would be a deputy chief minister in the BJP government. However, party sources said Delhi can have a maximum of seven ministers, including the CM, and representation will be given to all communities.
Rekha Gupta, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Chief Minister-designate for the national capital, said that it is an honor for every woman of the country and credited her hard work for being selected. Gupta’s swearing along the cabinet will be administered by Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena at 12:35 pm. The BJP has invited around 50,000 guests, including prominent RSS leaders and spiritual Dharma Gurus, along with industrialists, celebrities, Ladkiyon Behenas, auto drivers, and
farmers from Delhi.
Congratulating Rekha Gupta, BJP national president J P Nadda said, “I have full confidence that under your able leadership, Delhi will attain new heights of development and good governance. With the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, you will work with utmost dedication to fulfill the aspirations of the people of Delhi,” he said in a post on X. “Our resolve will be to free Delhi from AAP-da and make it number one in terms of development, convenience, and cleanliness,” he added.
BJP has come back to power in Delhi after 27 years, and now they will work together to improve the overall development of Delhi. They fully commit to realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to a developed India in 2047.
