Diamond merchant cheats Conrad Hotel by pretending to be additional chief secretary

Pune – The pretense of being the Additional Chief Secretary of the Maharashtra state conman duped five-star hotel Conrad, Mangaldas Road, of Rs 95,900. He lived there with three others and got VIP treatment but escaped without paying the bill.
Now Pune city police has Aditya Ashok Jogani (39 years) of Napean Sea Road, Mumbai. The case has been registered against his accomplices Manav Shaha, Navin Shaha, Geeta Shaha has also been booked. A director of the hotel Sachin Deolkar (36) of Kharadi  has complained about them to Koregaon Park police station. According to the police, in January 2018, Aditya Jogani, called the hotel’s reception and identified himself as Additional Chief Secretary Praveen Pardeshi, who is the officer in the Chief Minister office. He sent e-mail to the hotel management about stay of these four persons. The hotel provided VIP facility to those who came to stay.
While checking out the accused did not pay the bill. The hotel management often followed up for the money, but he did not pay. Later it was found out that he was not the Additional Chief Secretary of the state.  In this case, Jogani has been arrested by the anti-dacoity cell of Crime Branch. Police are are now searching for his accomplices.
