Dive Ghat Traffic Update: Road Closure from 12 pm to 2 pm on Saturday
Hadapsar, 16th October 2026: The Dive Ghat road between Hadapsar and Dive Ghat will remain completely closed to traffic from noon to 2 pm on Saturday, October 17, due to blasting work for road widening under the Alandi–Pandharpur Palkhi Highway project.
The Pune City Traffic Police issued a traffic advisory on Friday, asking commuters and motorists to use alternative routes during the two-hour closure.
According to the advisory, blasting will be carried out at Dive Ghat as part of the road-widening work. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has appealed to citizens to cooperate and plan their journeys accordingly.
Commuters travelling between Hadapsar and the Dive Ghat area are advised to account for the temporary closure and avoid the affected stretch between 12 pm and 2 pm on October 17.
The traffic police have urged motorists to follow the advisory and use alternative routes during the scheduled work to avoid inconvenience.
