Dr. Shailesh Deshmukh takes over as President of the Indian Orthodontic Society
Dr. Deshmukh has had a distinguished career in dentistry and orthodontics since 1986. He
completed his post graduation from the celebrated Government Dental College & Hospital, Mumbai. Practicing dentistry and orthodontics since three decades, Dr Deshmukh is also the fellow of Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, UK and the past Chairman of the Indian Board of Orthodontics.
His role in the field of Dentistry and Orthodontics has been multifold, ranging from being a Professor, Post Graduate Guide and Facilitator of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics at Bharti Vidyapeeth University, Dental College & Hospital, Pune, as also a much- sought after speaker at National and International seminars and conferences . He has also been an examiner at various universities and presented many research papers. He has publications to his credit both Nationally and Internationally.
