DSK Group announces formation of Neeraj Lifeline Foundation
Pune- City’s well-known DSK Group today announced the formation of Neeraj Lifeline Foundation. This foundation will work to increase the awareness towards road safety and overall grooming of drivers. It is seen that along with man made mistakes, road conditions do play a major role in accidents. With proper management, some of the problems can easily be solved. The Neeraj Foundation will work towards it, informed Vivek Velankar, Trustee-DSK Foundation at a press conference today. The announcement has come at the backdrop of recent accident D S Kulkarni had met with which had led to the tragic death of his driver Neeraj Singh.
Also present on the occasion were Dhananjay Pachpor- COO-D S Kulkarni Developers Ltd., Dr. Sharad Hardikar of Neeraj Lifeline Foundation.
Under Neeraj Lifeline Foundation, Neeraj Life line and Neeraj Driving School will be operated. It will educate & guide drivers driving small vehicles as cars to trucks or big container carriages. The Foundation will also take initiative to share the important information on taking care of one’s health, awareness about salary structure, taking care of vehicles, control on speed etc. A committee will be formed for those people who wish to volunteer for this cause. It will be headed by famous Orthopedic Surgeon Dr Sharad Hardikar.
“We have prepared an information document highlighting on how to avoid accidents on expressway, which we will soon be produced before the Government. It will include details like road designs, its ideal length, breadth, construction of dividers, and placement of plants etc., informed Pachpore.
