Pune, 18th June 2025: The Central Organisation of the Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), under the Adjutant General’s Branch at the Integrated Headquarters of the Ministry of Defence (Army), has introduced an updated and simplified online procedure to change registered mobile numbers linked to ECHS 64KB Smart Cards.
As per the latest issued guidlins, Ex-Servicemen (ESM) or primary beneficiaries can now update their registered mobile number, both primary and dependent, after obtaining their 64KB ECHS Smart Cards.
Steps for ESM to Update Mobile Numbers:
Login to the ECHS portal at echs.sourceinfosys.com using valid credentials.
Navigate to the “More Option” tab and select either:
“Change Mobile Number (Primary)” or
“Change Mobile Number (Dependents)” Enter the new mobile number and submit the request.
Visit the parent polyclinic and insert the 64KB ECHS Smart Card in the KIOSK machine to update the database. This ensures that the updated mobile number also reflects on prescriptions.
