‘Energy’ art exhibition to showcase massive 24 ft. paintings

Pune, February 19, 2020: Punekars will have an opportunity to view paintings of Pune-based artist, Nilesh Pawar at an exhibition named ‘Energy’. Given a unique touch, the paintings will be 8, 12, 15 and 24 ft. long and which will be on display from Saturday, February 22 to Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Monalisa Kalagram, Koregaon Park from 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM. The exhibition, which will be first of its kind in Pune will be free and open to all.

The exhibition will be inaugurated by Senior Architect, Pritika Manjrekar and Sunita Kolte, Director of Kolte Patil Developers on Saturday February 22 at 6.30 PM at the said venue.

As artist Nilesh Pawar started creating 8 ft., 12, ft., 15 ft., 24 ft. long sketches about 5-7 years ago, he suffered two heart strokes. But despite the strokes in last 3 years, Pawar still managed to work on his creativity with passion and whole-heartedness and finally gave it a desired and satisfactory touch, which now will be showcased at the exhibition.
Nilesh Pawar said, “The pictures in an exhibition are showcased in small frames but I want to show them on huge canvas. The paintings will be of 8×5, 12×5, 15×5, 24×5 ft. and has been done by airbrush. I had formatted the sketches for the paintings about 5-7 years ago but couldn’t get it done due to the stroke. But now they are ready.
