Essay competition on ‘ Disabled Friendly India: Vision 2020’
EKansh Trust invites school students to participate in an ESSAY WRITING CONTEST organized to spread awareness, sensitize children and promote inclusion of People with Disabilities in Mainstream Society. You can read more about it on website: www.ekansh.org or Facebook Page linked therein.
Coloring pages and story books for children of all ages are already published. The Essay Contest is another step in this direction.
Details of the contest:
> Last date of registration is 15th December, 2015
> All essays to reach by 5th January 2016 via email
> Registration via Pune schools only ( No fee, contribution welcome)
> Students of standard 8 & 9 can participate, please encourage all to write but only send us your top 10
> Essays can be in Marathi or English
> Students with disabilities are most welcome to participate
Topic – ‘ Disabled Friendly India: Vision 2020’
10 of the best entries from each school need to be sent after being judged by the teachers in the school
All 10 entries will be given E-certificates
The 3 best entries in English and Marathi each will be chosen by a team of judges and will be awarded. These essays will be put up on the EKansh website with credits
The award winning entries will be shared with decision makers in the Government of India.
