Europe’s David Lloyd Clubs comes to India in collaboration with Talwalkars

July 25, 2019, Pune: David Lloyd Leisure, Europe’s largest and fastest-growing group of premium racquets, health, and fitness clubs in partnership with Talwalkars Better Value Fitness launches the first ‘David Lloyd Clubs Talwalkars’ in India, located in the city of Pune. Benefiting from over 100 years of combined experience within the health and leisure club industry, ‘David Lloyd Clubs’ and ‘Talwalkars Better Value Fitness’ have made the exciting decision to come together as David Lloyd Clubs Talwalkars to bring their first exclusive members-only club in Asia to Pune.

By combining Talwalkars’ knowledge of the Indian Health & Fitness market with David Lloyd Leisure’s expertise in premium family-orientated clubs, the company aims to provide a new standard of clubs in India, targeting the growing upper-middle-class population. The club is designed and constructed across 7 floors over an area of 1.1 acres. The club brings international quality facilities and operating standards for its members, fulfilling the demand of leisure and sports under one roof.

The club’s innovatively packaged and expert coaching programmes cater to all age groups. The club offers a wide range of international standard sports and fitness facilities including a heated outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, racquets facilities inclusive of tennis, squash and badminton, a multi-purpose hall, gym and 3 group exercise studios which hosts classes like Spinning, Zumba and Yoga.
