Pune, 27th April 2024: In an exclusive interview with Punenkar News, Dr. Arjun Deore, Regional Passport Officer, Pune, emphasized the importance of using the official online passport application process and cautioned against relying on agents or touts for passport-related services.
Dr. Deore strongly advised against sharing confidential information or documents with unauthorized individuals, highlighting the risks of potential misuse. He emphasized that the Government of India has not authorized any intermediaries or agents to represent passport applicants, urging citizens not to be swayed by promises of expedited services or early appointments.

“The passport application process is straightforward and can be efficiently completed online,” Dr. Deore remarked during the interview. He encouraged applicants to utilize the official platforms provided by the Ministry of External Affairs, such as the website www.passportindia.gov.in or the mPassport Seva mobile app available for both Android and iOS devices.
