Warje, 27th March 2023: The family of a “gau rakshak” was attacked and nearly robbed in Warje Malwadi in Pune on March 24. An FIR was lodged by Anurag Hiwale, the victim’s brother-in-law, at the Warje Malwadi police station on March 25, stating that two people on a scooter threatened and demanded money from the couple while they were traveling on their motorcycle with their four-year-old son.

The assailants allegedly snatched Hiwale’s wallet and attacked the vehicle twice with a sharp weapon, causing damage. However, they did not succeed in taking any money and fled the scene.
