Fatal Accident on Mumbai Pune Highway: Dumper Driver Flees Scene After Hitting Two-Wheeler

Pimpri, 16th May 2024: A fatal accident occurred near Empire Estate building on the old Mumbai Pune Highway in Pimpri earlier today. A dumper driver, who was reportedly drunk, collided with a two-wheeler rider heading towards Pune.
The deceased has been identified as Yogesh Shrikant Sangnor (27), who lost his life in the accident after getting caught in the rear wheels of the dumper.
The driver fled the scene, leaving the dumper behind. The incident took place at 3:42 PM today. Local residents claim that the dumper driver was under the influence of alcohol. Pimpri police are currently investigating the matter further.
