Fatal Accident on Pune-Solapur Highway Claims Woman’s Life, Leaves Husband Seriously Injured
Loni Kalbhor, 26th June 2023: A speeding vehicle collided with a two-wheeler on the Pune-Solapur highway resulting in the tragic loss of a 34-year-old woman’s life. The victim, identified as Chhaya Suhas Jadhav, succumbed to her injuries, while her husband, Suhas Sharad Jadhav, sustained serious injuries.
Suhas and his wife Chhaya were travelling on the Pune-Solapur highway. Suddenly, a speeding vehicle hit a two-wheeler from behind near a bridge in the Sortapwadi area. The driver escaped after the accident. Suhas and his wife, Chhaya, were immediately admitted to the hospital. Tragically, Chhaya succumbed to her injuries before receiving treatment, and Suhas is seriously injured.
Chhaya’s sister, Renuka Salunkhe (32), has filed a complaint in this regard at the Loni Kalbhor police station. A case has been registered against the driver, who fled after the accident. Police Sub-Inspector Ghodke is investigating the case.
