Festival Rush: Some Sub-Registrar Offices To Remain Open On Dussehra, Sunday

Pune, October 24, 2020: Every year on the occasion of Dussehra people prefer to buy land, houses and flats. Against this backdrop, the State Registration office and Stamp Duty Department have decided to keep the selected sub-registrar offices in Pune, Thane and Nashik open on Sunday. There are a total of 507 sub-registrar offices across the state.

People preferred buying and selling land, houses and flats on the occasion of Dussehra. Therefore, a strategic decision was taken by the Department of Registration and Stamp Duty to open some selected sub-registrar offices despite the holiday. The selected offices in Pune, Thane and Nashik will remain open on Sunday (October 25) after discussions with all the sub-registrars in the state, said Omprakash Deshmukh, Inspector General Registration and Controller of Stamps.

These offices will remain open on Dussehra

In Pune city Dapodi Joint Sub Registrar’s Office Haveli number 17 and 25, number 21 and 22 at Erandwane and office 23 in army area (camp). Joint Sub Registrar of Class II from Nashik number 3, the Joint Sub Registrar Class-II in Thane, Kalyan number 3, Joint Sub Registrar Class-II in Thane Rural, Bhiwandi number 1, 2 and 3, Ulhasnagar number 4, Joint Sub Registrar Class-II at Raigad-Alibag, Panvel number 3 of these offices will continue.
