Flood 2021: Pune Municipal Corporation Appeals Citizens To Boil Water Before Consuming

Pune, 27th July 2021: Due to heavy rains in drinking water providing dam areas, the water is contaminated with mud, soil, etc. So, while supplying water through pipes turbidity of water has increased.

Aniruddha Pawaskar, Chief Engineer, Water Supply Department, Pune municipal corporation said, the water is being purified through the water treatment plant and is completely suitable for drinking.

However, as a precaution, the citizens should boil and filter the water and cool it, and then drink.
