Flood Alert For Baner, Wakad, Sangvi, Pimple Nilakh, Aundh, Khadki As Mulshi Dam Releases Water in Mula River
Pune, August 21, 2020: Flood Alert has been issued to the residents of Sangvi, Khadki, Baner, Bopodi and Aundh, following the release of water from Mulshi Dam on Friday morning.
From 12 pm today, 12,000 cusecs of water is being released into the Mula River, and the low lying areas on the bank of Mula have thus been alerted.
The Mulshi Dam officials have informed the local authorities on the same. Areas like Dapodi, Pimple Nilakh, Wakad have also been alerted. Mula River enters Pimpri Chinchwad flowing to Pune city, before the confluence with Mutha River at Sangamwadi.
