For coming 45 days, traffic will be slow at COEP Chowk
Pune : A repair cum joining civil work of a bridge on College of Engineering Pune (COEP) Chowk to Sancheti Hospital has started from 9th August. It will need 45 days to finish. Till that time, COEP Chowk to Sancheti road is reduced from two lane to one and half lane due to barricading.
Expect traffic to be slow than usual for this period.
This affects all roads around COEP Chowk invariably, as the amount of time given for traffic on road decreases or the overall cycle length of Chowk increases, as more time has to be given to COEP to Sancheti because narrowing of the road.
Thereafter the bridge will be open for traffic and all vehicles from Old Pune-Mumbai highway, Sangamwadi and RTO Chowk will use bridge to go towards Sancheti.
This will give big sigh of relief!
