‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’ To Re-Release In Theatres On June 15
Mumbai, 11th January 2023: Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, starring Sunny Deol, is scheduled for a global re-release on June 15.
The movie about the partition is being re-released two months ahead of the August 11 debut of its eagerly awaited sequel, “Gadar 2: The Katha Continues.” Anil Sharma, director of the first movie, is also going to direct this movie too.
According to a representative of the production firm, the movie is rereleased to create buzz for the sequel.
According to a Zee Studios representative, “Zee Studios intends to release part one of “Gadar” again in a digitally restored format as a prelude to part two, following in the footsteps of “Avatar.” On June 15, the same day as the movie’s release.”
Director Anil Sharma told PTI, “I’m pleased that “Gadar” has garnered interest from viewers. We’ll re-release “Gadar” in a similar manner to how “Avatar” and “Baahubali” were previously distributed. Things are currently being planned for the film’s re-release.”
