Global Pulotsav to commence in Pune from 17th to 25th November

2nd November, 2018 : 8 November 2018 to 8 November 2019 will be celebrated as the centenarian year of Pu.La Deshpande. The Pulotsav Festival which has been taking place for the past 14 years will this year celebrate the centenarian year of Pu.La Deshpande. This year the festival will be organized in 20 cities across India as well as in 30 cities across 5 continents. Pu. La. Parivar and ashay sanskrutik will be organizing the Pulotsav festival in collaboration with square 1 and Punyabhushan Pratishthan.The festival will begin from 17thNovember and go on till 25th November.

This year, the prestigious ‘Krutadnyata Sanman’ will be awarded to Dr. Vikas Kamte and ‘Tarunai Sanman’ to Kaushiki Chakraborty. The Krutadnyata Sanman is given to the people who have been doing great work in social work. Dr. Prakash Amte, Sindhutai Sapkal, Dr. Abhay Bang & Rani Bang, Girish Prabhune, Dr. Anil Awchat, Naam Foundation, Dr. Ravindra & Smita Kolhe have been felicitated with this award. Subodh Bhawe, Rahul Deshpande, Shreyas Talpade, Anand Bhate, Swapnil Bandodkar, Mukta Barve, Mahesh Kale & Amey Wagh were the few recipients of the Tarunai Sanman.

The Festival will take place at Balgandharva Ranga Mandir from 17th to 25th November. 16 different programs which include Film Festival, discussions, symposium, Speech invention, Music Concert, Play, Dance, Speeches, Caricature exhibition etc on Pula will be showcased at the festival. 100 artists will be performing in these various programs. ‘ Aathvanitale Pula’ is the compilation of Pula’s selected work which will be available for the people.
