Gokhale Institute of Politics & Economic signs MoU with MMs IMERT, Pune
Marathwada Mitra Mandal’s IMERT signed an MoUwith the Gokhale Institute of Politics & Economics, Pune (A Deemed to be University) on Wednesday. Both the institutes joined hands to collaborate on research and academic related activities. The ‘Centre for Emerging Economies’ at MM’s IMERT would take up various research activities under the guidance of Gokhale Institute of Politics & Economics, which would be extended to National and International faculty members in the coming future.
Besides this both the institutions shall come together to jointly organize international conference and national level summer school in econometrics.
At the MoU signing ceremony, Dr Rajas Parchure, Officiating Director, Gokhale Institute of Politics & Economics emphasized the need of such collaborations for greater dissemination of knowledge in the realms of higher studies. Dr Shriram Nerlekar, Director, IMERT, said that this is a welcome opportunity for IMERT and expressed confidence in executing the MoU to fulfill its purpose and achieve greater heights.
