Gold, Silver Prices Fall Sharply, Know The Prices Now

Pune, December 7, 2020: On the first trading day of the week in the domestic bullion market, both gold and silver precious metals declined today. 

According to HDFC Securities, the gold price in the national capital Delhi has declined by Rs 104. Gold has come down to Rs 48,703 per 10 grams due to this decline. According to Securities, the fall in gold prices globally has led to a decrease in prices in the domestic market. Significantly, in the previous session, gold had closed at Rs 48,807 per 10 grams.

Along with gold, the spot price of silver also declined on Monday. The silver price recorded a steep fall of Rs 736. The price of silver has been reduced to Rs 62,621 per kg. Significantly, silver had closed at Rs 63,357 per kg in the previous session.

Gold Price in international market

In the international market, both gold futures and spot prices fell on Monday evening. According to Bloomberg, on Monday evening, the global futures price of gold appeared to be trading at $ 1,834.30 an ounce, down 0.31 percent or $ 5.70 on Comex. In addition, the global spot price of gold was trading at $ 1,833.05 an ounce, down 0.32 percent or $ 5.81 at this time.

Silver price in international market

In the international market on Monday evening, both silver futures and spot prices fell. According to Bloomberg, on Monday evening, the March 2021 futures silver price fell by 1.76 per cent, or $ 0.43, to trade at $ 23.83 an ounce. Apart from this, the global spot price of silver was seen trading at $ 23.83 an ounce, down 1.49 percent or $ 0.36.
