Good News – 115 corona affected patients have recovered and discharged in Pune District

Pune , 22 April 2020 – The number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 890 in Pune district today and 115 corona affected patients have recovered and gone home. It also includes a 92-year-old grandmother with a 3-year-old child. A total of 58 persons have died in the district Also, 20 patients are critical and the rest are under observation, informed Divisional Commissioner Dr. Deepak Mhaisekar.

The department has 890 affected patients and 58 patients have died. Out of these, 813 infected patients 53 patients have died in Pune . In Satara district, 16 infected patients and 2 patients have died.

Solapur district has 25 affected patients and 2 have died. In Sangli district, there are 27 infected patients and 1 patient has died.

There are 9 infected patients in Kolhapur district. Till date, a total of 10 thousand 37 samples were sent to the department for testing, out of which 9 thousand 511 reports have been received. Awaiting report of 526 samples. Of the received reports, 8,573 samples were reported negative and 890 positive.

Till date, 44 lakh 5 thousand 369 houses in the department have been surveyed and 1 crore 67 lakh 77 thousand 649 persons have been inspected. Of these, 828 individuals have been referred for further investigation.
