Hadapsar cops save life of woman trying to commit suicide

Pune, February 1, 2020: A distress call was received at the Pune police control room to send an immediate help at a location in Hadapsar.
Accordingly police constables Amol Babar and Vilas Rathod, who were on beat marshall duty, were sent there around 1 pm. The woman had consumed poison. The cops found that the door was locked from inside. After getting information about the incident, PSI Rajshri Patil, and policemen Karpe and Bendre also reached there.
Without wasting time, they broke open the door. They found that the woman had also cut her wrist. She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. The timely help saved her life. She is undergoing treatment at a private hospital, said Senior Police Inspector Ramesh Sathe, in-charge of Hadapsar police station.
