Hadapsar: Four Persons Arrested Abandoning Dead Body Near Magarpatta Chowk

Pune, January 4, 2021: The dead body was found on January 1st in Magarpatta area in Hadapsar. The body was dumped on the sidewalks by some people from the freight tempo. The mystery of the murder has been solved and the police have arrested four persons in this case. A caterer killed the worker and dumped his body on the sidewalk at Magarpatta Chowk.

The deceased has been identified as Santosh. Police have arrested businessman Narayan Shankar Vyas (30), Jitesh Tukaram Kadam, Santosh Sundar Pujari and Sampat Maruti Kale in the case. Assistant Inspector of Police Hanumant Gaikwad has lodged a complaint in this regard.

According to police, on January 1, at around 10 am four persons in a white pickup vehicle wrapped a dead body in a sheet and dumped it on the sidewalk and fled. People informed police about the body.

During the investigation, the police had got the number of the pickup vehicle. Later it was found that the vehicle belonged to Narayan Vyas of Loni Kalbhor. Hadapsar police then arrested Narayan Vyas with the help of Loni Kalbhor Police. In an interrogation, the mystery of the dead body was revealed. The autopsy report has revealed the death of Santosh was due to strangulation. The reason why the accused was killed is not yet clear.
