Half of Fergusson College (FC) Road to be two way now

Pune, February 28, 2020 : The traffic branch of Pune city police has opened half of Fergusson College (FC) Road for two traffic between Dnyaneshwar Paduka chowk and Agriculture College chowk (Veer Chaphekar chowk).

Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Dr Sanjay Shinde issued a temporary notification in this regard yesterday. The decision was taken after getting many complaints from citizens.

Police have appealed people to send their written suggestions or objections in this regard till March 12 to Additional Commissioner of Police, Traffic Branch office, Near Yerwada Post Office, Airport Road, Yerwada, Pune – 411006.

The one way traffic on FC Road began in 2009. Later between Lalit Mahal Chowk and Dnyaneshwar Paduka chowk, two way traffic was allowed for people coming from Model Colony side.

After getting a report from the Shivajinagar traffic division about two way traffic, the new notification has been issued, Add CP Shinde said.
