Hemant Rasane Travels In Pune Metro For Filling Nomination for Kasba Constituency

Pune, 29th October 2024: In a unique demonstration of political and infrastructural progress, Hemant Rasane, the Mahayuti candidate for the Kasba Assembly Constituency, filed his nomination while traveling on the Pune Metro. The event was marked by a grand procession, showcasing the unity of the Mahayuti (Grand Alliance), and was attended by several prominent leaders from the BJP, NCP, and other allied parties.
Rasane, accompanied by Union Minister of State Murlidhar Mohol and Maharashtra’s Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil, began the day by taking blessings from Kasba Ganapati, the deity of Pune’s old city. A procession then made its way to the Mahatma Phule Mandai Metro Station, from where Rasane and the leaders traveled via the metro to Swargate, to file the nomination papers.
The nomination filing witnessed the presence of key Mahayuti leaders, including BJP City President Dheeraj Ghate, NCP City President Deepak Mankar, House Leader Ganesh Bidkar, Shiv Sena’s Ajay Bhosale, Secretary Kiran Sali, Lahuji Shakti Sena leader Vishnu Bhau Kasbe, and BJP Kasba Mandal President Rajendra Kakade, among others. Numerous party workers, activists, and citizens also gathered in large numbers, demonstrating widespread support for Rasane’s candidacy.
Speaking on the occasion, Union Minister Mohol emphasized the trust citizens have in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Mahayuti government in Maharashtra. He credited the late Girish Bapat and late Mukta Tilak for their contributions to the development of the Kasba constituency, stating, “The turnout today is a clear indication that Hemant Rasane will emerge victorious and continue the work started by our esteemed leaders.”
Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil echoed these sentiments, saying, “The desire for Mahayuti’s governance in the state is evident. Numerous development projects have been initiated in the Kasba constituency with the support of both the central and state governments. The large crowd that gathered to support Hemant Rasane shows that the people of Kasba stand firmly with him.”

After filing his nomination, Rasane addressed the gathered supporters, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to contest once again from Kasba. He highlighted the progress made in the constituency over the last 18 months, particularly in solving the issues of over 50,000 citizens. “The unity of Mahayuti and the blessings of the people of Kasba will ensure our victory. I am thankful to the senior leaders for their trust in me, and I am confident that we will win this seat,” Rasane said.
