How to Travel During Lockdown ? Know All Details About Lockdown Passes in Pune

Pune, April 12, 2020: A centralised Digital pass system implemented in Pune city since 28th March. About 3.5 lakhs people have requested for passes and police have approved their requests as per their emergency on case to case basis. Police have also registered cases against six persons for providing false information to get the pass.

For Pune city: digital passes (except for essential commodities/ services, banks, doctors, government officers etc.) ; Automatic date extension of digital passes in limited categories will be done tonight so that they don’t need to re-apply on www.punepolice.in

For Inter-district movement of Essential commodities/services /medical equipments & related services – no pass required as per central / state government orders.

For Inter-district movement of individuals– only in case of emergency (death/serious medical condition etc), as per IG L&O circular, at Pune police, it is being facilitated through [email protected] ; permissions being given from DCP crime office

For companies operating in Pune city – once they get permission to operate from concerned SDO/Jt director industries, digital passes for employees for their movement

For companies outside Pune city but employees living in Pune city – permission letter from concerned authority and copy of permission by local police (pcmc/rural) is enough; No insistence on digital passes for them.

For travel Outside Maharashtra : For reason of serious medical or other emergency send mail on [email protected]  If approved pass will be issued by Maharashtra DGP office in Mumbai.
