Unlike some other Boards, the Maharashtra State Board was able to complete the HSC examination before the nationwide lockdown was announced on March 24 in wake of Coronavirus pandemic. However, the process of evaluation and thus results got delayed because of the restriction posed by the lockdown. The result is generally announced by the end of May.

Once the result is announced, the students will be able to apply for revaluation, starting the next day (July 17) either online, or through their schools/junior colleges.
