ICAI Releases Exam Schedule for CA September 2025 Session
New Delhi, 2nd June 2025: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially announced the exam timetable for the CA September 2025 session, outlining dates for the Foundation, Intermediate, and Final courses.
According to the notification, the CA Final Group 1 exams will be held on September 3, 6, and 8, while Group 2 is scheduled for September 10, 12, and 14. The CA Intermediate Group 1 exams are set for September 4, 7, and 9, followed by Group 2 on September 11, 13, and 15. The CA Foundation papers will take place on September 16, 18, 20, and 22.
Duration and Holiday Details
ICAI has specified the duration of various papers:
Foundation Papers 3 and 4 will be 2 hours each.
Final Paper 6 will have a duration of 4 hours.
All other papers across levels will be 3 hours long.
The exams will not be conducted on September 5 (Friday) in observance of Milad-un-Nabi. ICAI has clarified that the exam dates will remain unchanged, even if they coincide with public holidays declared by any authority.
Examination Centres
The exams will be held across 318 centres in India, with exceptions in Arunachal Pradesh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Ladakh, and Lakshadweep.
In addition to domestic centres, the September session will also take place in nine international cities:
Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu (Nepal), Kuwait, Muscat, Riyadh, and Thimphu (Bhutan).
