Igatpuri’s Railway Accident Relief Train Upgrades Equipment for Faster Restoration
Igatpuri, 22nd August 2023: In a significant development aimed at enhancing the efficiency of accident restoration efforts, the Accident Relief Train (ART) stationed in Igatpuri has introduced several innovative equipment handling solutions. These novel additions are designed to streamline the process of early accident recovery and restoration.
Among the new features are a Material Mini Crane, which facilitates seamless lifting and lowering of materials, Electric Cranes, and Mini Forklifts for efficient unloading of equipment. Additionally, the inclusion of a Jack-Lifting Device and Rail-Road Trolleys further aids in the smooth transportation of heavy loads.
To ensure optimal visibility during nighttime operations, an LED light tower has been installed, providing ample illumination for the entire work area.
