IGI Airport Customs Busts Gold Smuggling Attempt by Uzbekistan National

Delhi, 26th February 2024: In a significant development, Customs officials at IGI Airport have apprehended an Uzbekistan national who recently arrived from Almaty.

The individual was caught attempting to smuggle 1931 grams of gold, with an estimated value of Rs 1.28 crore.

The authorities are currently conducting thorough investigations into the matter.
