Inauguration of World’s largest meditation center at Kanha Santi Vanam, Hyderabad
Hyderabad, 28th January 2020: To mark the 75th anniversary of the formation of Shri Ram Chandra Mission and Heartfulness Institute, unveiled the magnificent meditation centre slated to be the world’s largest. The meditation centre was dedicated to the first guide of Heartfulness Param Pujya Lalaji Maharaj by Mr. Kamlesh Patel, affectionately known as Daaji, the present guide of Heartfulness, in the presence of several dignitaries including yog guru Baba Ramdev, Shri Janardhan Pant Bothe of Akhil Bharatiya Shri Gurudev Seva Mandal, Gurukunj Ashram and Shri Suresh Prabhu amongst others. With this inauguration, Hyderabad and India get another global landmark in the form of this symbol for human transformation.
Built on 30 acres, the meditation centre will have a central hall and 8 peripheral halls to accommodate 100,000 meditation practitioners at a time. Uniquely, the meditation centre was designed and built with expertise within the Heartfulness Institute and took just 3 years to complete.
Commenting on the occasion Daaji Guide of Heartfulness said, “a unique moment in history is unfolding today with the completion of 75 years of this organisations service to humankind. The meditation centre has been carefully designed not just as a structure of physical importance but as an inspiration for all those who seek to better their lives through practise of meditation – the magnanimous gift made available to humankind by the universe.”
Elaborating on the fact that this meditation practice is offered free to one and all, Daaji said “Babuji Maharaj, his spiritual guide and the founder of Shri Ram Chandra Mission believed that ‘God is not for sale; and suppose if He was for sale, how much can you pay?’ Hence no money is ever charged whatsoever for this practice. The fact that the entire edifice of Kanha Shantivanam has been built solely on voluntary donations is a proof that when hearts are touched, people come forward and contribute whenever and wherever required.”
Daaji’s Vision of Spiritual Organisations Collaborating with each other
“It takes enormous amounts of wisdom, courage and foresightedness to perform acts that change the course of history. Daaji’s clarion call asking spiritual organisations to work together for making the world a better place is precisely that. It was refreshing and inspiring to hear his vision and was meant in spirit and in act. This is the beginning of the coming together of various sansthas and practices creating a new unification in the service of all mankind. My presence here is testimony to that and I am deeply honoured to be invited here”, said Yog Rishi Baba Ramdev.
Tukdoji Maharaj Santha, a prominent spiritual organisation in Maharashtra region recently embraced Heartfulness practise and their representatives were present at the inauguration and engaged the gathering with their bhajans. Their General Secretary, Shri Janardhan Pant Bothe of Akhil Bharatiya Shri Gurudev Seva Mandal ji along with several others will also be present for all meditation sessions.

The effect of Heartfulness meditation with pranahuti on brainwave patterns, heart rate and blood pressure, vagus nerve activity and telomere length on chromosomes, amongst other things, are being supported by research. Many feel the effects of transmission in their first few Heartfulness meditation sessions and are often surprised at their own ability to plunge into an absorbed meditative state.
