The match, to be played at Pune’s Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Gahunje on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway, has been overshadowed by rain. According to the information, there is a possibility of rain during the match today.

Indian cricket team is going to take the field with the intention of winning today in the first series of the year. The first match of the series had to be cancelled due to rain. India won by 7 wickets against Sri Lanka in the second match of the series played in Indore. Team India had a 1-0 lead with this win.

Shadow of rain on match

The rain spoiled the fun of the first match of the series played at Baspara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. After the toss in the match, the match could not be played due to rain. Now the last match to be played in Pune is also under the shadow of rain. The weather was bad on Thursday and it is feared that it may rain during the match on Friday.
