INDIAN COAST GUARD RECOVERS 28 PACKETS OF CHARAS NEAR KADIYARI BEYT, JAKHAU (GUJARAT)

Ahmedabad, July 20, 2020 : ICG landing party during coastal patrol recovered 28 packets of charas scattered on different places at Kadiyari beyt close to Jakhau harbour on 20 Jul 20 at about 1400 hrs. Each packet of charas weighs approximately 01 kg amounting to total Rs. 42 lakh approx of market value. Till date, ICG in coordination with other government enforcement agencies has recovered more than 1300 packets of charas from the coastline adjacent from Koteshwar to Mandvi since 19 May 2020.
