Indian Idol Ashish Kulkarni Gets A Heart-Warming Welcome In His Home Town Pune
Pune, June 30, 2021: Pune-based Ashish Kulkarni, one of the last seven contestants of Indian Idol was warmly welcomed in the city today. Ashish had come to Pune for a day before the final round.
A small function was held at Treasure Park Society in Aranyaweshwar area where Ashish Kulkarni resides in presence of Pune’s first citizen and Mayor, Murlidhar Mohol. Apart from Ashish’s family, Jaideep Mane, Mahesh Wable, Corporator, Avinash Gadve of Kaka Halwai Sweet Mart, Sushil Jadhav of Lokmanya Credit Cooperative Society among other residents of Treasure Park Society were present on the occasion.
Ashish was greeted with a garland of flowers and was honoured by Mayor Murlidhar Mohol with Puneri Pagadi. Speaking on the occasion, Mohol said, “Due to the current pandemic crisis, we have to limit our celebrations in praising Ashish, but once he wins the Indian Idol title, we will celebrate his success at Shaniwar Wada on behalf of the people of Pune.” He also expressed confidence that Ashish is a great singer and the people of Pune will definitely support him to win this competition.

“The Treasure Park Society used to be known for floods and many unfortunate incidents. Today, we have got a new identity in the form of Ashish”, said Corporator Wable.
The women, children and even the security guards at the society were all seen appealing for votes to make Ashish win this time. After the event, Ashish shared his favourite meal with the family.
“This love from Punekars along with my family is a matter of happiness for me and I will do my best to succeed in this competition. I appeal to the people of Pune to cast their votes in large numbers,” said Ashish.
