New Delhi, 11th March 2025: The countdown to the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 has begun, with the tournament scheduled to start on 22nd March and conclude with the final match on 25th May. The inaugural match will feature defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. KKR will be led by captain Ajinkya Rahane, while RCB will be captained by Rajat Patidar.

The match is set to begin at 7:30 PM IST and will be broadcast live on Star Sports and Sports-18, with streaming available on the JioHotstar app.

The squads for both teams have been finalized, with KKR boasting players like Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, and Venkatesh Iyer, while RCB features Virat Kohli, Liam Livingstone, and Josh Hazlewood. The IPL 2025 season promises to be an exciting one, with all ten teams gearing up for the competition.
