ISHRAE Pune Chapter maintains social distancing by conducting installation of new office bearers online

Pune 1 April 2020: Unprecedented times require unique solutions and so at a time when social distancing is of paramount importance, the Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) Pune Chapter recently conducted its installation ceremony for new office bearers digitally using zoom app. Every year this ceremony is of paramount importance for all ISHRAE chapters across India and celebrated in large gatherings of HVAC&R industry experts in the month of April to mark as a beginning of new society year. However this year it has been a unique as stated by Richie Mittal,National incoming ISHRAE President who graced the occasion digitally as the Chief Guest. Mr Kedar Patki, Regional Director of West India, ISHRAE administered the oath online to the new office bearers .Mr Deepak Wani was sweared in as President, ISHRAE, Pune Chapter, Ms Amisha Madan, Honorary Secretary, Mr Virendra Borade, Treasurer and Mr Satish Menon as President Elect.for the society year 20-21

Outgoing President of ISHRAE Pune Chapter , Mr. Nandkishor Matode said that in this scenario when the entire country is in a lockdown mode and social distancing is the only way to avoid Corona spread , we arranged the installation ceremony digitally on Zoom platform. Nandkishor Matode also gave insights of last year year activities through video presentation. New President Mr Deepak Wani briefed his plans for upcoming society year 20-21 with introduction of entire working CWC Committee. President Elect Mr.Satish Menon gave a vote of thanks and appealed all members to remain inside home and help nation in fighting against Corona Virus.

Moderator of this digital oath ceremony Mr Sandeep Nichal, Mr Gandharva Gupta and Mr Neeraj Magnani did a wonderful job by organising this online event and nationally it has been appreciated by one and all.
