Navi Mumbai December 31 2023: Japanese second seed Moyuka Uchijima upset Top seeded Ekaterina Makarova of Russia 6-4,6-1 to win the singles title at the IWTC-2023 ITF World Tennis Tour $40000 Tournament (Shri Ganesh Naik Initiative) organized by the Navi Mumbai Sports Association in association with Maharashtra State Lawn tennis Association (MSLTA) under the auspices of the ITF , AITA and to be played at the Ganesh Naik Tennis Complex in Vashi

In a one sided final lasting 1.20 mins the Japanese Moyuka who had won A 25K event In Pune couple of years ago stopped the double crown attempt of top seed Katrina Makarova 6-4,6-1

With a win in the last day of the year Moyuka moved to 173 in the ranking while Makarova moved to 165 a new career high for her

The winner received 70 points and purse of $6094 (₹ 5,06,900) while the runners up got $3257 ( ₹2.70lakhs). The prizes were given away at the hands of Chief Guest Shri. Ganesh Naik-MLA & Hon. President-NMSA,
