Jio Announces Largest 5G Roll-Out Ever, Covering 50 Cities, 17 States And UTs
New Delhi, 24th January 2023: According to a business filing with the stock exchange, today (January 24), Reliance Jio announced the largest-ever rollout of its 5G services across 50 cities.
Jio subscribers in 184 cities can now experience Jio True 5G services due to this rollout. In the majority of these cities, Reliance Jio has become the first and only operator to introduce 5G services.
According to the firm, the Jio Welcome Offer, which offers Unlimited Data at rates of up to 1 Gbps+ at no additional cost, will be available to Jio consumers in these cities starting today.
Speaking about the event, a Jio spokesperson said, “With the inclusion of 50 new cities across 17 states and union territories, the total number of Jio True 5G services will now be available in 184 locations. Not only in India but also globally, this is by far one of the largest 5G service rollouts. Because we want every Jio subscriber to experience the game-changing advantages of Jio True 5G technology in the new year 2023, we have accelerated the pace and intensity of True 5G rollout across the country.”
