Jio Reintroduces Prime Membership With One-Year Price Guarantee; Rs 300 Fee

Mumbai, 17 August 2026: Reliance Jio has reintroduced its Jio Prime membership programme as part of its 10th anniversary celebrations, offering customers a one-year price guarantee on eligible existing tariff plans along with additional benefits.

Under the new Jio Prime membership, customers can continue recharging with their preferred eligible Jio plans at current prices until September 5, 2027, irrespective of any tariff revisions during the price-guarantee period.

Jio said its existing tariff plans, including the ₹299 plan, will continue to be available to all users. The Prime membership is aimed at customers seeking additional price certainty for their preferred plans.

₹600 in Cashback Vouchers
Jio Prime members will receive cashback vouchers worth ₹600. This includes a ₹300 voucher that can be redeemed against a new JioHome or JioPC connection and another ₹300 voucher for adding a new Jio SIM connection for a friend or family member.
Members will also receive early access to new Jio products, services and trials, as well as priority customer support through a dedicated service channel. Jio said additional member-exclusive benefits may be announced during the membership period.

Available to Existing and New Jio Customers
The membership is available to existing Jio prepaid and postpaid customers for a one-time joining fee of ₹300.
Customers using other telecom networks can become Jio Prime members by porting their existing number to Jio or taking a new Jio connection.
Jio Prime membership can be purchased through the MyJio app, Jio’s website, Jio Stores and authorised Jio partner stores.
The programme was originally introduced as a membership initiative for Jio’s first 100 million customers. The company has now reintroduced it for its wider customer base of more than 500 million users.
