JITO Ladies Wing conducts seminar on online business for women entrepreneurs

16th December 2016, Pune: JITO is a worldwide body of Jain businessmen, industrialists, knowledge workers and professionals in various fields. JITO’s key objectives are to achieve socio-economic empowerment, value based education, community welfare, practice of compassion and spiritual upliftment. 
 
One of the key objectives this year for JITO is women empowerment. JITO Pune Chapter ladies group today conducted a program to promote Women Empowerment through Online Business.
 
Mr. Sachin Gayake, from First Cry and Mr. Manish Chavan from Jago Investment spoke on the opportunities for online business. Formalities required for Online Registration process including the documentation required, Product Registrations, Packaging and Delivery, Returns / Cancellations, Payment Systems & Legal Compliances required were explained. Various tools to increase visibility such as use of social media, Search engine optimisation(SEO) and Marketing (SEM) were also covered in the seminar.
  
Mrs. Sarika Sancheti, coordinator on the occasion said, “In today’s fast changing world, digital literacy is of paramount importance. It is therefore that all of us understand the potential and the opportunity of online business.”  

Mrs. Sapna Kochar and Mrs. Sarika Mutha, Program Associates who gave the vote of thanks added, “Today’s women can gain financial independence by selling products online.This seminar is sure to motivateand give confidence to many in the group totake up this initiative.”

Mrs. Deepali Bafna and Mrs. Rupali Bhandari and other members of the JITO Pune Chapter ensured that the program was implemented seamlessly. Mr. Vijay Bhandari, Chairman JITO, Pune Chapter also spoke on the occasion.
